Summary:
You have to experience this house to believe it! It has everything: a large PRIVATE and HEATED in-ground pool (see note below in winter) with diving board and water slide, a hot tub on the deck, a play set for the kiddos, a trampoline, and a large grassy area for playing corn hole, etc. If you're looking to just relax, you've got views of Pikes Peak from the pool seating and the deck. Indoors you can play foosball poker. Plus, with 6 bedrooms, your whole group can have their own space!
The Space:
Layout:
- 4 bedrooms upstairs
- Kitchen/dining/sitting room on main level, open with TV room off the kitchen.
- Lower level has game room for foosball or table games, 2 bedrooms (one with with bunk bed).
- Big back yard has it all: large pool with waterslide, hot tub, trampoline, kids playground, large grassy area for corn hole or other yard games.
- Garage has an EV charger, and the house's primary source of power is solar!
Centrally located:
- 5-10 minutes from 3 theaters and lots of restaurants and shopping
- Air Force Academy: 10 minutes to North Gate, 6 minutes the South Gate
- 18 minutes to Garden of the Gods, downtown Colorado Springs, and Old Colorado City
- 25 minutes to Colorado Springs Airport, 75 minutes to Denver International Airport
Entertainment: highspeed internet, and a Roku for Netflix, Hulu, etc.
Please no raging parties, but family get togethers, holiday celebrations, etc. are welcome as long as you clear it with us first. Due to a city ordinance and fire codes there can be no more than 14 people in this home at once, for any family get together, or holiday celebration. Please talk with us about your plans in our home prior to booking. Please let us know and keep parking to the driveway and garage since we're in a cul-de-sac.
Guest Access:
You'll have full access to the entire home, including the 2 car garage and large backyard. We are located on a cul-de-sac so please be respectful of our neighbors and only park in the driveway and garage (can fit 6+ cars).
The Neighborhood:
Briargate is a newer area of the city, but old enough to still have lots of large trees. It's high enough that just driving around in the neighborhood gives you some breathtaking views. It's very family friendly and we expect you to keep your stay that way as well. :)
Getting Around:
It's generally easiest to get around Colorado Springs by car. Uber and Lyft are both readily available in our experience (getting to DIA can be slightly challenging but is possible), and a rental is always easy. The interstate is a short 5 minute drive away (exits 150 and 151).
Other Things to Note:
The pool is winterized during the freezing months. If you are staying in the winter and would like to request use of the pool, we are happy to work with you. We will need at least 48 hours notice to heat the pool, and there will be an additional nightly fee to cover the additional cost of utilities.
The pool is heated to 82 degrees when not winterized. The water slide is only available during Spring and Summer months. The hot tub is available year round!
Cell signal for some carriers in the neighborhood can be a bit spotty, but generally if you find a good spot you are fine. We do have fast wifi to help you stay connected.
We use security cameras outside (not inside!) our home covering entrances, driveway and pool/hot tub. We also use noise sensors which measure volume.
We require ID verification, terms accepted, and security deposit for all reservations.
No raging parties, but family get togethers, holiday celebrations, etc. are welcome with notice. Please let us know and keep parking to the driveway and garage since we're in a cul-de-sac.
